Hexentexte
Hexentexte
is the name of the book I made in the winter of 2004-2005. Each
page was made by hand, with a photograph affixed to the front and
a 'journal entry' on the back. The method I used to transfer the
written word to the page succeeded in garbling the words on the
transfer and destroying the piece of paper they were originally
typed on. Pure catharsis with only the idea behind the words lingering
on the book.
The
photographs in this book can be seen in the Equinox
Gallery.
When
I got a ways through the making of Hexentexte I decided that each
page needed an audio entry as well. A variety of different 'cut
up' methods were employed with a few different cassette recorders,
then transfered to 3 inch 'pocket CDs' to be included in the book.
